I re-covered this $5 thrifted foot stool.
This is what I did.
First, I removed the old cover and kept it as a template.
Then I patched together the left over fabric I had from making a new cover
for my recently acquired retro couch, using my template as a guide.
I sewed the corners at right angles.
And, tried the cover on the stool to make sure it was a snug fit.
A little corner tweaking was required.
The stool was turned over and the cover stapled in place.
Now I have a new foot stool for my new to me couch.
A nice place to put my feet up.
