Do you like my Lizard?
It sits on my entrance way table and is often over looked.
I made him a while ago and he still catches my eye.
He is made from a re-claimed blanket and cotton fabric.

Those legs were frustrating and fiddly to turn out.
The pattern is from this Softies book, which I've used a lot.
The patterns are clear and easy to follow and the examples are beautiful.
This lizard is my current favourite though.

It's really worth a look. There are some clever people out there.
He's just lovely - and I love the photos you have taken of him adventuring about the place :)
ReplyDeleteOh, he's absolutely adorable! He reminds of the little geckos we sometimes get about the place.
ReplyDeletetoo cute - you are so clever! i might need to get my hands on that book it looks great
ReplyDeleteHe is gorgeous. I think if he lived in my house I'd want to pick him up and smooch him... actually, if he lived in my house my 2 smalls would probably spend a good portion of the day carrying him around! LOL
ReplyDeleteI love your lizard, and have pinned a pic to my pinterest board "Things I'd love to make". I think my kinder children would love some funky lizards to play with!
