There had been a local yarn bombing this weekend in one of the parks in town.
It looks great.
This is the first time I've come across a yarn bomb where I live.

I'll have to go and check it out in person... when it stops raining.
Have you come across any where you live,
or even done some yourself?

Looks great! Did they leave any clues to tell you who did it?
ReplyDeleteoh cool! I would love to see one in person...or do one!
ReplyDeleteThere was one in Napier last year. Every tree down main street was done and I absolutely loved it. I recognise this tree too, my kids climbed it just last Sunday when we visited Hamilton. I loved it's perfect tree climbing branches. Wish I saw it all dressed up like this though.
ReplyDeleteThat looks fantastic! I hope it stays. There was some done for a festival in town a couple of years ago... some gorgeous stuff on the rotunda, but I think it was only temporary. But a few years back now when I'd only first heard of yarn bombing I noticed a simple few long pieces of knitting woven into a fence at the front of a vacant block on a main road on the way into the city. It stayed there for quite a while and gave me a smile whenever I saw it.
