I've seen a few takes on this house purse lately.
This is my version.
I used pink suede for the roof and zipper pull,
vintage floral sheets for the main fabric and lining,
giant ric rac for some detail, felt for the door and windows
and buttons for the door knob and flowers, front and back.
I couldn't resist adding the little yellow bird button too.
I also added a suede and fabric strap
for my little Miss to carry her new purse around.

The pattern is by Julia Bravo in Rashida Coleman-Hale's 'Zakka Style' book.
I'm pleased with it and so is my girl.
I've been making a few purses lately- see another one here.
